Rarely does any piece of music express what I am feeling as well as David Crosby’s “Time After Time” does in this moment. “As part after part of the puzzle falls into place…” makes perfect sense to me.

I’ve been dreaming about far places this afternoon: Tulum, Costa Rica, China. This afternoon’s word is “compose.” I think of Crosby composing “Time After Time.” I think of sitting with my guitar creating melodies and of the composure music brings me.

Every day we talk about finding a center in meditation and composing our days so that we remain composed within the challenges each day brings. It’s easier said than done. Distance alone is a hurdle we struggle over every day. So far we manage. It’s a good thing. It forces us to recognize and understand one another as complete human beings as “part after part of the puzzle falls into place.”

Time to be still and find composure.
